What is commercial and Industrial (C&I) Solar Systems?

Commercial and Industrial (C&I) solar systems are solar panel installations specifically designed for the commercial and industrial sectors. These installations are distinct from residential and utility-scale solar systems. C&I solar projects are typically implemented on the roof spaces of factories, institutional buildings, or car parks, as well as on the ground in some cases.

The two primary types of C&I solar installations are rooftop solar systems and ground-mounted solar systems. Rooftop solar systems involve the installation of solar panels on the roofs of commercial buildings or industrial facilities. These panels capture sunlight and convert it into electricity to meet the energy needs of the premises.
